Living by the sea in Brisbane, Where to go
Moving out to Brisbane in September going to be staying with family in Ferny Grove to start but looking to move by the coast. Have been checking out Wellington Point, Birkdale, Alexandra hills areas. Anyone know if they are good or bad, schools OK etc. Or are there any other seaside resorts worth looking into look forward to your replies

It's best to do a search on this one, I think you will find a lot of info on these areas.

The surf beaches are about an hour away, (Gold Coast or Stradbroke Island) but we do have some small kids beaches locally.
Have a look on Brisbane Bayside Brits for more general info on the area.
