Amazulu lives in the hills I think - I think he's in Kalamunda

I could have the wrong poster though but there is definitely at least one who lives in the hills that posts on here.

My wife grew up in Kalamunda and loved it. Her parents still live there. I have been there twice on my visits to Perth. They have a nice place on the edge of town. I remember sitting out on the patio feeding the kookaburras. Lovely relaxing place. I'll be up there every Sunday before too long.
The town is really nice and quaint I believe. A few pubs, cafes and restos. I enjoyed the market too.

Doesn't it get VERY hot in the hills though because of the lack of a sea breeze?

I agree, it's very pretty though.

No, it's generally cooler in the hills than the suburbs.

On the basis of many years' experience with the Perth and Adelaide hills and 14 years in a Tasmanian valley - yes, I am sure.

For example, today's South Australia forecast for Adelaide, and Mt Barker - a town in the Adelaide hills:

Adelaide: 15-22

Mt Barker: 11 - 20
ABC.
