Hi there everyone. We moved from england to melbourne in nov 05 and about 3weeks ago we drove from mel to perth across the nullabor. That was an experience in itself. We didn't think we would enjoy it, but i can honestly say we did. We saw some things that i wouldn't of missed for the world but some i'd rather forget like the (HUNTSMAN!!!!!!) Never again. Once we arrived in WA we wasn't sure where we wanted to rent. We looked at mindarie in the north and mandurah in the south. South won! I must admit i really likes mindarie and the school was great but we found it hard to find a place to rent in the catchment area. Because we didn't want to keep wasting money on a motel we headed to mandurah in the south. This is really good for our young kids(8,5,14mths) as there is loads to do. We have landed in a place called erskine in a fab house but there is a lot of 'mossies' around here, which we hate but overall a great place. The kids are in Halls Head Primary which is a fantastic school and the kids love it. We wouldn't rule out mindarie but there wasn't much going on for us up there and you don't seem to see many people about. It is beautiful though. If you need any more info don't hesitate to ask.

HI Tracie
sorryto butt in but i just wanted to say that my kids are out most of the time, but i think it depends on the street you live on some streets have kids playing others dont. I know my neighbours would prefer it if they didn't but they are nice enough not to moan at me about it.
