My advice would be to put a crisp £50 note in an envelope and address it to your CO. This should get you a response of some sort.
seriously though...its only really serious things (like my idea above) which would halt your visa. Try occupying your mind with planning ahead...strat looking for houses, jobs, leaving party etc.
