Have advertised some of our furniture and bits online with Loot. Anyone had any dealings or success with these?

Not sure if this helps, but we got a great IKEA corner six-seater a couple of years ago thru loot (we didn't want to spend money as we knew we were going to Oz soon-ish). We've been quite happy with it, and we got a great price! We plan to get rid of it the same way.
We also sold a horrible old sofa for £50 - I couldn't believe it! I would have paid someone to take it, it was that bad. It was bought by a lady wanting to furnish flats she was renting out. Having said that, it's all down to location methinks. We're in London where there's a greater demand for second hand furniture, than somewhere less urban, I guess.
Hubby plans to put some technical bits & bobs on e-bay, some of it will go to loot/thegumtree.com and some of it to a car boot sale. Most of it however, probably to a rubbish bin!
Good luck!

Well I am going to stick all my furniture on their and see what happens. A lot of them are period pieces, and if I get half of what we paid then I will be happy.
Will work out cheaper then to replace than shipping it, and I dont like it much. Old junk I call it, Mick thinks it is marvelous!!
