Being scared to go in the headteachers room, lines, getting a detention was really :scared: and not just a daily occurence as it is for kids now.

Having to go to my room, I grafittied the wall and wrote underneath that my sister had done but she couldn't write

scary things in the playground - like roundabouts which went really fast, broken tarmac which you could get a good scrape on, huge slides, seesaws that you daren't go on with someone fat as you'd get thrown up in the air and your bum would hurt!!!

There was a kid in my class I can still picture him and he used to get slippered nearly every day and all the class would go really quiet while our teacher took him into the store room so we could hear his screams
