on a personal note, we've roughly been through the same, the best advice we got at the time was to stop wasting energy and move on. I'm sorry to say you're not the first and won't be the last.... Maybe it makes you feel slightly better knowing you're not the only one and the big bosses know that too.
We spend heaps of money on lawers, court cases etc. to keep finding ourselves in limbo, worry and frustration... We can honestly say that as soon as we let it go, better things came around. Plus: we wished we'd done it from the start and not wasted any energy... This might not help at all, since you seem to be in the middle of the 'not fair, I want to toss a brick-stage'. Hopefully you and your partner sort it out quickly and can move on... Good luck!!
