Monica, well, we were lucky where we live but many parts of Cairns was affacted by severe flooding closing many major roads! Monica did manage to cause quite a bit of disruption to drivers - creating even more havoc on the roads
Our friends who live on the 'beaches' were stranded! No power lines down this time though - thank goodness!! but the cost of the 'clear up' is gonna be tremendous after two cyclones so close together Really hope thats it for this year as the holiday industry is beginning to suffer which affects so many local business's!Take care - omg its Friday tomorrow - and another long weekend - yippee!!
