The evening went well, and friends that had never met each other got on really well and forged new friendships in the process. I couldn't help but get a little sad as people were arranging to meet up, go out, do things together and I knew I would no longer be part of it.
Pickfords are coming on Tuesday, the house is a mess and has an empty, unhomely feel to it now. The completion date for the house is next Friday so that's when we have to move out, a week before we actually fly to Oz. This means we are effectively homeless for a week and dossing at peoples houses.
Can anyone really tell you how emotional it gets towards the end? I don't think anyone can warn you how stressful and gut wrenching the decision to leave everything you know behind is.
Are we doing the right thing? I have asked that question so many times and deep down I know I am. For everyone going through the same thing and those about to, the very best of luck.
And for those of you that know me, heres a v funny (VERY DRUNKEN) pic of me from last night. Don't you just love the custom made hat I had to wear all evening?
With a mixture of happiness and sadness, desperation and panic :scared:

Thanks everyone, was feeling a bit emotional yesterday.I had a massive hangover and we had the buyers round to bless the house! They asked if they could boil milk and then asked us to drink it. We now have ganesh sitting in the fireplace, all very strange but really nice!
Ended up in the pub again so now suffering from a 2 day HANGOVER Have to get cracking on the packing now, less than 24 hours before they come...
All the best to everyone, see you on the other side xxx
