Default language classes Sydney

anyone got any experience of language classes. I have been meaning to rekindle my French and German for ages, and possibly learn a new one.

I'm brushing up on my French via endless downloads of French film and the self-flagellation of trying to read Stendhal's 'red and the black' in French. I didn't think about having lessons after hearing Stella Artois produced 'art oo wee' once too often.

I haven't done any but keep thinking I should, and I know WEA on Bathurst St in the CBD runs some. I've done a few classes there, including computing and art classes, and they're quite reasonable. http://www.weasydney.nsw.edu.au/

And the UNSW runs language classes in Randwick:

Quite reasonably priced and not far from Alexandria.

I don't know why you want to learn that overseas claptrap! Get yourself to TAFE. In 7 years you could have a cert 4 in bricklaying.

There is an excellent Spanish institute across from Victoria Park near Sydney Uni. I would say Spanish would be far more useful than French.

I keep thinking of brushing up on my very rusty 'O' Level French and German but agree, they're not much use to me today.

I always thought Spanish would be good when I was holidaying over there, but these days I would like to learn Bahasa Indonesia. Just need to get off my backside and sign up. Hmmm, unemployed now, really should take advantage of that
