Default Kinetic Education Software programme

Hi to you all

Could anyone give me any feedback on Kinetic Education, it is a software programme designed for pre Primary to year 12 students and specialises in Maths. It is quite an expensive investment and would be great to hear if anyone has had any experience with it good or bad.

Thanks

Julia

Don't know that much about it but they have offered a literacy version to the kid's school and I am waiting for some info as my daughter is dyslexic so we were considering getting a copy for home. As yet they haven't got back to me so I would be interested in any more info.

To be honest I've never heard of it. What I can say is that I worked for a woman who ran a Kumon centre in the UK with brilliant results. The only problem with a software programme is being committed to getting the child to use it on a very regular basis.

At least if you go with an outside business ie Kumon or Kit McGrath, you take the child to the class and they get DAILY work as well as class work and a teacher who will be able to say how the child is doing and whether to change levels etc.

I had my eldest doing Kumon Maths for a couple of years and was totally impressed with her progress (as were her school). I do know I would never have been able to get her to work on my say so without outside influence.
