hi amelia, we want to settle on the outskirts of brissy, maybe ipswich, not too sure yet. my mom likes surfers paradise as well. the flight is a long way isnt it, i dont like the thought of being on the plane for that long, mom says its very boring, i.l have to take plenty to read. and lots of sweets.:D :D :D love lyndixx

Hi Lyndi,
Don't worry about your dog, he will only have to be in quarantine for 30 days in Australia, I have spoken to some people who have taken dogs before and they said it is better not to visit them in quarantine as it upsets them too much when you go again. 30 days is not long and they will look after him well. We have budgeted approx £1000, to get our dog there, he is part of the family and we would not be going anywhere without him! Sarah |
thanks sarah, we wont visit our dog suki when shes in kennals, we thought it would cost about that much, if not more, but we couldnt leave her. we dont know where the kennals are, we are going to brissy. and there are no quarrantine places there, so she would have to be sent to brisbane from wherever she is in quarrantine. do you know where our dog will be staying and would we have to collect her etc. are you sending your dog early so she will be ready when you get there. when are you going have you got yor visas, are you excited. love lyndi :scared: :scared: :scared:

I am not your age I am a mum with 2 young children, but I noticed where you are from. We emigrated to New Zealand from Kidderminster 2 months ago. I have never been to Australia but I do know that Kiddy isn't a very nice place to live. My children are 7 & 4 they love it here, they haven't been to school yet but the one they are going to go to looks very nice. Just a word of warning the poster who calls himself twofingerslute may sound like a kid your age but I think he is an adult trying to sound like a child. It may be wise to check this with your mum before you engage in a conversation with him. Paula |
to paula, my mom is with me when iam on the computer, we did look at the profile of the man and i did wonder what he was on about, unless he means when he was younger, he was bullied ????????????? it hasnt put me off going to school in brisbane, kiddy schools are not too good, i go to stourport middle which is quite good. its been snowing here. where in kiddy did you live. its good you like nz. we know of a few people in kiddy waiting to emigrate. thankyou for writing, love lynd
