4 interviews including, personality profiling, group interviews, panel interview and role play, teenager got a job as a ......... trolley pusher, for one of australias biggest retailers. ( age 16 school job ) Quite stressful considering the role

There were 500 applicants for 12 jobs so I guess they can make people jump hoops as much as they want.

Most workers are casual and they do mess people around with shifts - like booking him on for every public holiday then cancel it the night before Would be a flaming nightmare if you had a family to support and most of the workers are adults not school kids.

My wife works casual , 17.5% leave loading / sick pay / 9% paid super - what exactly rights and entitlements is she missing out on?

I cant quote the "kids" as they are in full time work now but they had the same conditions. (+ they got a substantial bonus at xmas time )

Good for her, she gets benefits that the majority of casuals don't get, she is very lucky indeed.
