Default Kids are excited-First Christmas in Perth

Well the kids have gone to bed. They are so excited.I thought that it being our first in Perth Christmas that it would feel a bit strange. Its different but nice .The carols are on the tv,the neighbour across the road has lights all over his house.Whiskey is out for Santa and watermellon for rudolph(mum forgot to buy carrots)Hubby(chef) has his first Christmas day off in 20 years. So all in all happy.Have a great Day everyone.x Irishbloo heres to absent friends

Ours has just gone to bed also, So Champange Brekkie on the beach tomorrow morning, buffet/pool party in the afternoon. It will be different but will try to enjoy it. Just going to take the blanket off the pool don't want it too warm for tomorrow as it is going to be a scorcher, beats putting an extra blanket on the bed

I'm jealous. My 9 year old went to bed at 9pm and two hours later is now on the sofa with my wife because she can't sleep. We will be doing champers on the beach at Mullaloo if we ever get her to sleep to get chance to eat that mince pie that is calling my name and put the pressies out.

Hi irishfamily

It is our first Christmas in Perth also and we will also be going to the beach after dinner if I survive cooking the Christmas dinner in the heat and if we can talk my 3 year old into going as she hates the sand!

Happy Christmas to you and everyone else in Oz or Britain.
