anybody got any info karana downs near Brisbane

Very pretty, golf course has gone downhill. Jim recently crashed a golf cart into a ravine because the battery had gone flat! Its up high so you get nice views and there are lots of trees.

Primary school doesn't have a good reputation, but you could drive kids to Moggill school which does. (My boy goes there.)

Houses are good value. It was moved from Ipswich Council into Brisbane City council area a couple of months ago. Its about 25km from the city along Moggill Road which reached capacity several years ago but we don't find it too bad. Its not nice to drive in rush hour, though. Shuttle bus service into the city is just about to start.

If you have any specific questions I can try and answer them. I live about 10 minutes away.

I too play golf at karana downs and did not realise that it was part of Brisbane. It is right out ipswich way in the hills. Nice breezes up there.
No real specific info though, sorry.
