it's a major pain in the arse - im in vancouver presently and had to muck around at the australia consulate with a group of other convicts trying to get our names ticked off.
what annoys me is that we have two ass-clowns who clearly no one really likes but what choice have we got - its appalling. then there is the tens of millions spent on stupid advertising and "technical handbooks" on how best to fill out the piece of paper? i've got an idea, make the voting card an A5 sized piece instead of a piece of paper that spans three feet with 80+ choices. Dickheads. |

You can even avoid the fine if you successfully argue that you've abstained from voting for religious reasons.
