Was just reading a post in the update forum. It was about a couple from the UK who have sold there house in the uk and have put pics of it up on the board then thay showed us the one thay bought in Oz. What a eye opener! has every one been this lucky. I would just like to see what every one else got out in Oz.

havent got pics of our old place in Scotland....but it was a mid terrace....80 sqm with a small garden.......we are now in a detached 230sqm house on a 750sqm plot

In UK we owned a three bed victorian terraced house - I liked it, it was not tooooo small although I would have liked a bigger garden. Parking was a bit of a mission.

In Australia, we are moving to a four bedroom two bathroom detached house with a huge yard and a double garage. There's only two of us - so we won't even have to talk to each other any more!

In Uk we have a 4 bedroom detached with conservatory and double garage. In Oz we are moving to a one bedroom flat overlooking Sydney harbour with pool and gym in the building.

In England £210,000 3 bed Victorian Semi, 1 bathroom, 200 ft garden, galley kitchen, 2 small reception rooms


In Australia £130,000 4 bed, 2 bathroom, 5 acre garden, large (blue ) kitchen, pool, orchard, veggie garden, 2 huge reception rooms,

We swopped 2 bed semi in Rainy Rochdale (£130,000) for 4 bed,3 bathroomed, 2 story detached
with pool for (£190,000) in Sunny Brissy.
