Just about 2 send ....1 last hitch
Im just about to send my independant skilled application in......but of course nothing is ever that simple in this process(what a day ive had...broken printers/discs/run out of ink...what more can go wrong i asked myself.) Well this is the answer.........at the very end of application form 47SK(page 23 question 110) it asks if this is a skill matching visa..............BUT it says if you tick no the application will be returned unassessed. Please help me all you knowledgable people- i am slowly giving up on the will to live!!!!!!! I am sure the anwser is really obvious.......just not to me!
I am happy to go on the skills matching database- but my application is not for a skill matching visa...so what the hell is the anwser. I certainly dont want the application returned......only have 1 month before i am 35 and then dont have enough points:scared: :scared: :scared:
I know someone out there can help
Thanks all

You just get put onto a data base ....... and employers log into it when they are looking for new recruits....... whether they use it only when they can't find a suitable aussie candidate i dunno......

The only thing that worries me is that ...isnt a skill matching visa different from the database. Is it not a category all of its own?
Thanks for your help

HI we filled this bit in anyway. We have a skilled independant 136 visa and all that info went on a database and made no difference to the applicatin itself. Hope this is of some help. Lucy

dont want to throw a spanner in the works but about the age thing and the reduction in points when you get to 35, aren't your points assessed in relation to age at the time your application is processed, not when it was actually submitted, only ive heard conflicting info
