Default Joondalup

Someone recently mentioned that they had stayed in a nice hotel in Joondalup on a reccie. I knew I should have written it down there and then because despite all the searches I've done I can't find a trace.

Can anyone remember please ?

If not, I can highly recommend the Joondalup Country Club Resort, it's in Connolly but only a few mins drive to Joondalup.

Heres the link to the website

http://www.joondalupresort.com.au/welcome/index.html

You can see a virtual tour of the rooms, we stayed in a 'standard' and it was spot on.

We booked with HotelClub. http://www.hotelclub.net/hotel.reser...lup_Resort.htm

That's the one - exactly !! Thank you, karma sent. Wonder why the search didn't pick it up !

Anyway, it looks rather posh - would kids be alright there or not ?

We didn't take our kids, but I would have thought it would be fine, we did notice a few kids.

Most of the accommodation is in two story terraced blocks that you entered from outside so you wouldn't even have to venture into the 'posh' parts if you didn't want to.

Very nice, but also very pricey. :scared:
There are loads of places in and around Joondalup that you can stay at less then half those prices. Try
www.northperthrentals.com for starters.
We are situated 10 minutes north of joondalup. Not as fancy admittedly, but a lot cheaper!!

Thanks for your replies - the country club looks fab but was a bit pricey. Will definitely keep bookmarked tho as will be good for a special occasion ! I was seeing if hotels would be a better idea for us when we first arrive without any of our stuff but perhaps not. Depends what season we get there tho - if high season it may work out about the same price and I know what I'd choose in that situation !!
