Must say everything went without a hitch with Masons for my move. I'm surprised about them not calling you back, I had one lady who was a single point of contact, always called back when she said she would and even allocated me to another lady when she went on holiday for a work.
And don't worry about them not getting it all packed Bridie, I had 3 guys arrive from their Croydon depot, they looked like they should have been at school not packing containers but they were great, polite, efficient, quick and a good laugh. Bought them some fisn n chips for lunch the first day and made some bacon sarnies on the second day, they were quite surprised as some people don't even offer them a cuppa so they said.
Anyway they took about seven hours on the first day to turn this:
Into this (I hasten to add the cats were already at the cattery before anyone accuses me of animal cruelty
):
They left me with a bed, a kettle, four mugs and knife fork and spoon overnight, then about midday on Day 2 this was the last I saw of my stuff till New Year's Eve:
And if you really have too much time on your hands after it's all gone, go here: http://www.geocities.com/freighterman.geo/mainmenu.html
Click on the 'Ship Data - Tracking' link and you can find the Code for the ship your stuff is on and watch it crawl across the globe.
And for those not of a nervous disposition: (Don't look if you're already stressed out about the move!!)
