How do I get one? Does anyone know if you can get a jobseeker number with PR status? I believe they're usually only given out to people on the dole but as I'm heading down to Margaret River and looking for casual work I think it'd be helpful to have one. I noticed quite a few jobs advertised in various agencies and a lot of the better ones stated you need a jobseeker number to apply. Does anybody else have one of these or know how to get one?

Go to one of the employment agencies (Jobs Downsouth, Jet employment etc.) register with them as a job seeker and you'll get a number, no need to be on the dole.
