Hi all, I have just received a offer which I have accepted for a job in Perth I think the offices are in Bayswater ? Could somebody tell a good area to find executive rentals near the beach area which is about a 30min drive to ther offices also that has a good primary and high school?
I'm a bit in shock still and so confused in what to do, what are the best areas to look for good rental properties, my family wants still be near shopping malls.
My minds gone blank now but will have more questions. so i know make it what you wont but is it paradise?
Thanks
Maidstone Steve

Disclaimer:I have never actually been to Paradise so I am only going on what I read in fairytale books when I was seven.

The Beach and Bayswater - thats from Trigg down to Freemantle .
30 minutes at peak hour - maybe , seems a lot of travelling.
Executive rentals would be more appealing around East Perth - Mt Lawley

good on ya cubeonly, you tell em
Steve, Maidstone eh? I'm from Ashford, spent many a night on the town in your neck of the woods.
Are you coming over on a 457? There's probably afew things of interest that you may or may not be aware of, but let me know and I'll be happy to help with my experience and limited knowledge
Congrats on the offer

Agreed. It helps the consideration process as if, on balance, a person's life isn't going to be any more blissful in Perth than in the UK, then that person would want to think long and hard about it, instead of coming here thinking they were heading to paradise. Personally, I never for one moment assumed that I was coming to paradise (partly based on what I'd heard other people say). If I had, it would have been a severe let-down upon arriving in Perth as it is rather dull compared to other places I've worked and lived (although a hell of a lot more safe than a lot of other places I've worked, as I don't need an armed guard, for one thing!
). I think it was a justified question with justified answers that should be taken as honest opinions, but remembering that they are only some people's opinions.
noun
1.heaven, as the final abode of the righteous.
2.an intermediate place for the departed souls of the righteous awaiting resurrection.
3.(often initial capital letter) Eden (def. 1).
4.a place of extreme beauty, delight, or happiness.
5.a state of supreme happiness; bliss.
I think if you look at numbers 4 and 5, for some Perth is the antithesis of this definition. For others it isn't.
