Question Job Offer

Hi.

I've just recieved a job offer for $75k (I'm not including the superannuation in that as I'm not able to spend that!). I'm just wondering how much of that I'll see after tax (approximately) and therefore what kind of living standard that applies to.

It's in Melbourne, and it's just me and my husband. He would very much like to start his own business, so for a while it's just going to be my wage. I think it should be okay, but some feedback would be useful.

Thanks,

There is a web site that lets you calculate the amount of tax you will pay check google. would expect that you will come out with $4200-$4400 per month.

Could be closer to the lower end of your pay spread, depending on if they allow salary packaging etc...
