That's an interesting name for a town. Maybe it's a hot spot for roo collisions after all?

And a few Ks further back up the road is another small town called Pinnaroo (where we once had the misfortune of staying a night in the only motel in town ).

Pinnaroo must be where the poor roos are still attached to the cow catchers and Taperoo is for those that were only clipped by wing mirrors.

Klingaroo anyone? (those still clinging onto the bonnet)

I think Pinaroo's the place where the locals 'pin a roo' down for some . . . cough . . . entertainment . . . . on a friday night . . . after the pub has shut

Whereas at Taperoo train station you might get hit up for a couple of bucks, a train ticket and the rest of you packet of fags.

We also stayed at the gorgeous Pinnaroo Motel 5 days! Was where the employer put us up! They obviously wanted to impress us As for Pinneroo the town, mmmmmm errrmmmm what was it my Dad told me if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all......
