Internal Flights
We are going for a look around trip to Australia and have booked return flights to Perth on Singapore Airlines.
What's the best way to book internal flights Perth - Melbourne - Brisbane - Perth? Prices look quite reasonable on Virgin Blue, but should we wait until we get there and book internal flights - will this be cheaper and are there likely to be flights at short notice? Is it worth trying UK travel agents or should we just use Australian airline websites?
Many thanks

Re: Internal Flights
We used Virgin Blue last year - we booked our flights originally before we left the UK but also had no trouble changing a flight booking at short notice while we were there.
If you flying Virgin Blue, I'd suggest that paying the $5 to get into the Blue Room is well worth it

Re: Internal Flights
when we had our trip to perth last april, we looked at virgin blue origionaly but actualy found it cheaper for our internal flights (sydney, brisbane, townsville) by booking the whole lot through a travel agent here they where a company called imp travel in Lincoln. The end total was cheaper because we booked our main flight out with BA/Quantas and it made the internal flights cheaper.
Good luck anyway.
