Interesting phone call tonight
Not made too many posts on here but always found it to be very informative & helpfull. Anyway enough babbling, on to the main point - i had visa application acknowledged 14th July 136 skilled ind MODL, meds & Pccs cleared 30th sep then nothing - chased agents again & again got extremely frustrated lost countless nights sleep as a lot later applicants were getting theirs so said B****cks I'll ring DIMIA tonight & guess what It was granted 9th november & somehow the email has gone astray. So a bit of mixed emotions - elation at getting it & frustration at having wasted nearly 3 months.
Anyway i'm on nights till thursday so someone have a rake of extra cold guiness for me & if you read it Gary - up the rhinos & see you there for a few stubbies

Congratulations! What a drama! I've seen a few similar ones lately where communication has been lost for one reason or another. Anyway, that's all in the past now, enjoy your new life!

Re: Interesting phone call tonight
So if I send you an email and you don't receive it that would be your fault? I'm afraid sometimes emails don't arrive through no fault of the sender or the intended recipient.
The agent might have followed up with the DIMIA sooner, but to blacklist an agent (not me, I hasten to add) and to ask for a refund of fees is a ridiculous over reaction.
As an aside, if validating your visa is a problem within the reduced timeframe you might be able to obtain some additional time because the email didn't get to you ...
Best regards.
