I agree-Williamstown is fabulous for families-if I had children it would be top of my list. The jetty, the boats, beach, botanic gardens, the park, nice little cafes and beautiful old houses plus that fantastic view over to the city...We are in S/Yarra which i also love but hubby has to use his car for work and didn't want to neg the bridge on a daily basis.

It's funny how we always want what we haven't got - sometimes I wish we were on your side of the bridge for the proximity of the city for nightlife!!!!! But we have 2 young kids and life here is brilliant for them..

Someone may get a shock if they think that is for a long term 12 months contract:eek: We recommend people stay in short term furnished for approx 4 weeks, this gives them enough time to find themselves a long term rental. We also have quite a few realestate agencies who we deal with who will give our clients priority over others:thumbsup: |

we are some poor unfortunates who live in the surrounding areas of Williamstown and it is indeed an awful area.
Every day I wake up and feel sorry for myself having to live a couple of kms from the beach, 20mins from the city (even in rush hour), near those dreadful cafes....... Newport is truly a dreadful place to live. |

I was going to ask......what is it like trying to get across the bridge in rush hour?
For those that would know it, I currently cross the Kingston Bridge in Glasgow twice every day for work. I just can't bring myself to believe the route planner and real estate websites when they claim that Williamstown in 20-30min from CBD |
