OK - found the best one - this is for those of you searching the forum . 5 Rivers in Woodvale - good British-style Indian.

No runny, thin, gravy with flavours straight out of a jar. This is good, thick, garlicky, sauce of the type you're used to on a Friday night.

Enjoy it!!

Have tried The Cove (got ill), Royal India (Expensive and can not see what the fuss is about), Maya (the best so far but getting pricey and upmarket).

Our fav (being veggie) is the one on the swan river-Analkshami (??)

There is supposed to be a good one in East Perth (Anglo-Indian) but not sure which one this is !

Also, has anyone tried the following:

The Cinnamon Club, 7 spices, Latasha's place, Green Coriander.

Live SOR but don't mind travelling up to Perth (just not Joondalup or the Northern suburbs-but for a really good curry-maybe !!) :D

Thanks so much.

sorry you live south of the river but all of the best indians are north, for instance 3 rivers in woodvale, run by indian x pats
