Immunisation query
Has anyone had a child return to the uk without completing their full course of immunisations?
Our youngest daughter has had 2 out of 3 of the HPV immunisations which were given to her at her school, unfortunately as we are to return to the uk very soon, she will not be here when the 3rd and final course is given, the problem we have is that the HPV immunisation is not given in the uk until girls reach year 10 (15+)!
Will we be able to get the final injection for our daughter on our return? I’m assuming that the course needs to be given in 3 consecutive months not 2 in year 7 and the last one in year 10!!!
Anyone else experienced this or similar situation before we contact both the Australian or UK health departments?
