It is called 'Opportunities Abroad' At Sandown Racecourse Esher, Surrey

October 10 - 12 cost £4 adults, under 12 yr olds free.

It does get packed so be prepared, you won't believe how many people are trying to emigrate!

Thanks for the advice everyone. I think we've got nothing to lose by going to the show, apart from £8.00.

Hi, We're new to all this. We've not even applied yet, but we were wondering whether or not to go to the immigration show at Sandown? Or should we just blow some money and get over to Oz to see what all the fuss is about?
Anybody got any good avice?
Hi Vicky
For our 2 pence worth we feel it was of great benefit.
We could not get a clear answer on whether we would qualify for Australia or not. After talking to Ann Johnson of the South Australian goverment we were convinced SA was the right place for us. She also clarified several points and put our minds at rest that we would qualify under the STNI scheme.
We only stayed for about 4 hours, bypassed all the usual salesmen stalls and just went to the stalls that were likely to benefit us.
For us it was a well spent Saturday Morning.
Cheers
