Less immigrants, less doctors required.

Importing doctors etc is only a band aid solution. The sooner we start training our own, the sooner they'll be out there working. We used to do it before Howard came along.

And when they do make their escape, why do most of them move to predominately British areas like Manly or Eastern suburbs of Sydney?

They needed training yesterday i.e they need Dr's now. Also, Australia needs a mix of foreign and home grown so as to gain a mix of skills and experience.

Not sure who/ what that's in response to.

Why are so many Australians moving to other parts of the world? Similar reasons I suspect. Better prospects, different lifestyle, experience of different cultures etc.

Poms move to the same areas of Sydney so they can be around their own people. You don't see them moving to Cabramatta do you. The asians do the same. So do the Middle easterners.

So if everyone wants to be around their own, and people won't mix, why take them in if they're only going to change the place so it unrecognisable like the UK now is??
