As Ikea is one of my fave stores, can anyone who is currently in Oz, tell me if Ikea's there are the exact same as they are in the uk ( ie same ranges, same amount of choice )
Also, is it more expensive?

Love IKEA too! It's a great cheap store with lots of good ideas and great service both here and at home. I love the new IKEA store in Adelaide but have one complaint ... the buns that the hotdogs come in are too big and doughy. I prefer the small neat ones in the UK.

Hi,

We found Ikea in Rhodes, Sydney to be almost exactly the same as the stores in the Uk. Even the actual layout seemed to be identical.

There will be 3 floors and it will be huuuuge!!

It's only opening in 2008, it was due to open next November but has been put back. Apparently it's going to be a UK sized store, so instead of one floor of tat we will have 3 floors of tat.

One of the floors is an underground car park. Apparently it will be 5 times bigger than the old store.
