IKEA delivery
We live 400Km from IKEA in Perth and although the distance is fine to travel has anyone had any experience of having them deliver items in regards to the cost? Is it affected by distance or volume of goods - we are looking at buying 2 large bookcases, a small bookcase, TV cabinet, 2 bar stools.

Haven't used the service myself but the information on their web site is quite detailed and they will quote delivery costs over the phone.

Re: IKEA delivery
Hi
I had a quote from Ikea for delivery, we live approx 300km from Adelaide.
The delivery price actually goes on the weight of the items that you order, so sharing wouldn't make it cheaper.
For delivery of 2 wardrobes and a chest of drawers it was $150.

We went into the store to order the goods, then they put all our furniture on the next delivery to our area 4 days later. Was great service and got everything we should have.
DH spent a whole weekend surrounded by Ikea instructions and bits of mdf that he finally turned into furniture - and declared he's never doing that much in a weekend again!!!
