Thumbs down If you visit New Zealand avoid this campsite like the plague

Just returned from a long campervan holiday in New Zealand All sites excellent EXCEPT THIS ONE. Avoid this site on the outskirts of Auckland.
billed as a ‘First Class Prestigious Site with Swimming Pool’. The site was awful! It cost $30 and the paths and drives were potholed and dangerous there was very little lighting, the TV ‘was being repaired’ and the TV lounge had all the chairs and 'sofas' in various stages of destruction. The site was littered with old car interior seats etc. They expected you to pay additionally in a coin slot meter for a shower of 5 minutes. The swimming pool was dirty, half empty and 16 degrees. The kitchen was very sparse of any facilities. Everyone should avoid the Remuera Motor Lodge.
This apart from one other was the most expensive of our trip. I would rather have spent the night in a farmyard.
