Default Re: Identity Crises

I know it isn't exactly the same but I moved from Chester to the Midlands 15 years ago. For years I used to feel I didn't belong anywhere, I used to get teased for my accent etc.

The first sign I had I was starting to feel at home properly was when I started looking out for Coventry, Villa, Brum results rather than Crewe, Tranmere etc.

But after 10 years I feel like a stranger when I go back to Chester and rarely so where I live now.

So I guess what I am saying is it will just take a while. But I also like the feeling that I am not like some people I meet who have only ever lived in the same town all their lives.
