Question Identify these critters please!!

They are always in the house, in every room, on floors, walls etc. Even when I surface spray the house (I can't see them listed on the mortein can I am using either).

My DH tells me they are called 'earwigs' but when I look that up on google I can't find them??

Please help! What are they and how potentially life-threatening are they?!

Cheers
Els

ETA: they are about 1 to 2 cms in size

No, we don't! I can't believe how many I find each day. Most of them do get killed by the surface spray though, we just have to dodge our way through the dead bodies in the hallway. Ow yes, they do seem to be more present around the bathroom.

Thanks anyhow

I know they like damp places, have you sprayed inside and out? do inside first, maybe get something for bathroom plug holes and drains give them a good wash out with something???.....at least they are harmless.

Hope it gets sorted
