Default Ice packs with hand luggage

Hi, does anyone know if you can work around the 100ml issue when it's an ice pack used for keeping breast milk cool in a cooler bag? Will they make an exception for this?

Could you use a Thermos instead?

Just be careful.Last time we went through customs with the kids they had a water bottle each. They both had to drink the water before they were allowed through with the bottles.

Doubt you can store breast milk in a thermos, would imagine you have to use specified storage containers such as specific bottles.

Yes you can take breast milk on a plane, they just apparently sometimes make you taste a bit lol. That'll be the wife's job

Yes, icepacks are allowed, they come under the same rule as if you need to carry chilled medication. Just make sure you declare it at security and like someone else mentioned, you may be asked to taste the milk.
