I.T./Computing jobs

Are Sydney and Melbourne the best places for I.T. jobs?

My experience is mainly in banking/financial areas, are the banks mainly based in Sydney and Melbourne?

Reasonably evenly split between the big four and RBA:

NAB, ANZ: Melbourne

Westpac, CBA, Reserve Bank: Sydney

He's right - outside of Sydney and Melbourne IT does not command much of a market and a lot of the jobs are "branch office" types (i.e keeping thing ticking over rather than being involved in the big projects).

Good luck for the Super League play offs (here's to Wakey getting past the first round and Cas to go down !)
