Default I made Australian News!!!

Hi Everybody.

Hope you are keeping well.

Just thought I'd let you know that I made the Australian Migrant Newspaper!! Ha ha...just come back from a visit from my parents...newspaper is on the floor in the door way and I'm on the front page...Whee hee!...I pictured with the Koala by the way.

For those that don't receive it, Its is a monthly magazine looking at people wanting to migrate and offering stories
and contacts for those wishing to (and hoping to) migrate to Oz.

I went to re-subscribe to the mag last Feb and the editorial team asked to do a story on me. They told me that
only 10% decide to migrate on their own and most are men, so I'm quiet a unique story!

Anyway hope you enjoy the read, cause there is nowt else to say on my case file......yet...but who knows....the migrations authorities in South Australia may be impressed with my story and get me in quicker..ha ha - I think not!

Anyway hope you enjoy the read and the pics for those that get the mag!

Best wishes,
Carol Corbett

Yes they do have a website - its www.australian-news.co.uk

Unfortunately they keep stories to a min on the website so as to encourage you to buy the mag I think.....

To the confused ones - I'm the one with the glasses on the front....tee hee! But in the main story itself they got me and my twin mixed up in a photo shot of us both and we look nowt like each other! Mind you it was me who sent the pics!

I am glad to see someone else is going alone....I am going with just my six year old daughter(probably worse than being alone ...as wont get out to socialise as much!) Everyone keeps telling me i am mad to do it/ will be lonely/ no support blah blah blah.....hearing of others makes me feel it is not a totally bonkers thing to be doing!
Good Luckx
