A typical day of a dept of roads worker in Newfoundland canada as he operates his snow plough to clear the highway.

Ive seen snow drifts of over 3 metres, this one is nothing
I'm going to Canada after I graduate, one of the main reasons is because there's snow there :D

ARGHH!!!! Its my birthday and its f---ing snowing, which is what I always want for my birthday, and where am I....stuck in Brisbane where its peeing with rain and the roof is leaking so the bed is soaking wet.........someone up there hates me!

Well the snow we have here is wet and slushy and dripping down the window. It's not real snow. Pretty dismal really

Yeah it's great when it starts snowing in the afternoon. Everyone seems to panic, leave work early and consequently, a 30 minute journey home suddenly takes three hours plus, due to the congestion. Then all the wild rumours start about buses / taxis having stopped because half an inch has settled on the roads. Schools then close........and so on. Snow - it's brilliant!

Yes, we are renting, thank god. The Bloke says it happens whenever it rains hard, but he's never bothered talking to the landlord. Men! Guess who's gonna be on the phone tomorrow bending the ear of Mr Dodgy Landlord.......
