Default HVAC mech engineer in Perth

Hi all

I would guess that the job market for HVAC design engineers in Perth is probably ok at the moment but does anyone work in that sector and know how things are.

Also if I work contract what sort of hourly rate can I expect, initially bearing in mind the need to learn ozzies `vogues` in the industry and general ways of working.

Cheers for any info

Mick

PS Perhaps could do CAD design drafting to start with to gain experience, what would the rates be there.
