He got there this morning...our time...for a very speedy 8 day rekkie.

Poor bloke has a list of instructions a mile long...jobs, housing, schools..etc etc etc!

Mind you, I reckon he'll find time to have some fun, I've just called him and he's sat by the pool at our friends house, supping beer and listening to the crickets!

It's rained nearly all day here!!

He flew with Emirates to Dubai. He reckons Dubai airport is amazing. He said the first leg of the flight was a bit of a nightmare, he had a rather large lady sat next to him so she was taking some of his space as well as hers (no disrespect to the larger person intended!) He said the second leg of the flight was much better, it was a 777 and loads of space.

He reckons what he's seen so far, which isn't a lot, looks very nice. So, I will get an update daily and hope and pray it's positive news.....

God isn't he the lucky one

He's armed with a video camera and a new digital camera which he hasn't a clue how to use!
If we ever fathom the digital camera out then we can post some stuff on here.

I am so looking forward to seeing the video when he gets back!

Trouble is though, this trip is a bit of a make or break trip for him. If the job situation looks dodgy or the housing in our budget looks yuck..then well..that's it for us

We will then start looking at somewhere else...Adelaide maybe.

He's staying with friends in Carramar which is by Joondalup...up north of the river. He reckons it's nice but hasn't had chance to have much of a look around yet.
Yep, he was mightily impressed with Dubai airport...huge palm trees and Lamborghinis as the raffle prize in the lounge!! Now that's POSH!!

I keep looking at my watch, working out Perth time and wondering what he's done today and where's he been, what's he found out!
