Default How to secure a job offer from overseas?

Hello,

With the recent changes to priority processing of Australian visas, my turn is expected to come in late 2012. So, I am trying to get a job offer from my place (overseas). But, I am not sure where to start from.

All recruitment websites that I came across require the job applicant to be an oz citizen or legal resident. And, obviously, I do not meet that requirement.

So, I am looking for your help. Any tip would be helpful. How did people on 457 on ENS obtain their job offers? Was it through a website? Or a recruitment agency in their home country? Do you know any employers who are hiring from overseas?

I am looking forward to your input

Thanks
Ahmad

It depends on what you do. Some industries will recruit a lot of staff overseas. I am a geologist and was recruited in the UK. Also, dont be put the web sites saying only to apply if you have right to work as if your skills are good enough, then they will be consider you

Might suggest you do a search on this subject or have a look at this one, particularly the post by Centurion (#7).
