HOW to pack a container - any website references?
I have heard some horror stories about people who have had their containers badly packed (heavy stuff on top of dinner plates, poor packing and movement in transit etc etc).
We assume becuase we PAY to have it packed, that we are getting expertise, but as these are our LIFE belongings, it may be worthwhile to arm ourselves with some knowledge so that on the day we can have an edcuated opinion....
Or of course, we could pack ourselves.....
Is there such a thing as a reference document or website that gives you TIPS on how to pack a container. Or what principles to follow (other than the obvious? )
nix

There is a great thread with photos showing a self packed container before, after and during packing and great details of how it was packed. Afraid i can't remember the name of the poster, but try searching or I am sure someone will remember.

Generally everything is boxed. Odd shapped stuff goings in first ( bikes etc ), and the rest filled with similar sized boxes. Not sure on the order of boxes, but our guys were very organised and nothing was broken. We used PSS.
