We're also 41 and I went through the thinking I'm too old for this emmigration thing, then I thought do I really want to spend the next 25 years working here and then retire to the rain!

Me 44 - Hubby 44

But they have some rather good plastic surgery hospitals in Brisbane (so I've been led to believe), so from now on I'd like to think I can go backwards!

This thread is like a maths test. First read the parents age, then the kids ages, then figure out how old they were when the had their first kid....and :scared:

Bloody hell. Did you people not have something better to do when you were teenagers?

Our first rugrat is due in december, and I'm 35, and Mrs JTL is ...., well its not polite to say, so lets just say a few years younger than me.

Its quite scary to think there are people my age with 15 year old kids!

Ok then, I know I'll get the backlash, but I'm 43 hubby nearly 45 and our oldest boy is 26 :) Our youngest is nearly 13.

I loved being a young mum as I had loads of energy for them, and now that I am older I have the advantage of hindsight, wisdom and patience for our youngest. Though I am frequently nutty too. :p

If you've ever read any of my posts about my mum then you will understand how I ended up married so young.
