how old is this forum?
just being nosey, sitting here reading through everyone's posts, usually laughing as you go! just wondered how old this forum is? someone must know when it began and who started it. probably wondering because this site has been invaluable to me whilst sorting out and now waiting for visa, if lucky enough. haven't posted much myself but have spent many months just reading through posts and so on.
there are a few posters whom seem to have been on here for a while, and you gain alot of insight and laughs reading their posts, everyone's posts gives something, even if at the time it's not what you want to hear.
does anyone know?

I first started watching the misc.immigration.australia+nz newsgroup in early 2000 (the posts on the immigration forum are sent to the newsgroup). I definitely remember posts coming from BritishExpats then... so it's been going since at least 2000
