How Much Experience do i need?

How Much Experience do i need?
Hi guys!
Im currently doing NVQ 2 in Plastering but im concerned that once iv finished the course that i still wont be able to apply due to my experience time, when i complete the qualification i would have had 2 years on site experience and fully qualified Plasterer!
So do you think 2 years is enough, because to be quite frank i have absolutely had it with living here i got to get back to Oz and i dont think i could stick it any longer than the 2 years!
