We used John Mason's but I can't remember the exact quote (just over £4k ?) as our final price included a special crate for the jukebox and storage. We were also stupid and just paid it without challenging it, everyone who has challenged has had money knocked off

Quote's seem to vary between £3400- £4000 for a 20 ft container. I can only think that the variation is due to the items packed and their packaging requirements? Also, does this quote include the company insurance?

We moved over in September 2005 and it cost us £4050.00 + £800 for insurance and we used Britannia Appleyards in Rotherham. They were great all packed in 3 days and not one thing smashed. Ed

If so I'm booking them too. Did it also include insurance?

That's a mad price!
I've quotes from John Masons, Crown and Abels and all about the same - I've got a budget of about £4200 inc Insurance and whoever gets to that point gets my business ... looking like Abels at the moment! (They can do it at that if I collect 20 cartons to pack myself and they'll do breakables). Ins on £10,000 only.
