Hi all

Can anybody give me any idea as to how much i can realistically earn as a Carpenter in the Berwick area of Melbourne or anywhere in Melbourne really.

Hi Stuart, a fourth year apprentice gets paid about $20 per hour, a newly qualified about $30 per hour rising to about $50 per hour for an experienced carpenter.

These are self-employed rates.

Depends if you 1st/2nd fix, shop fitter or roofing. How the job situation is at the moment depends on supply and demand. The best bet is to have a look online...But beware things can change quickly
