Well, I can make you feel better about your viewings. I've had 7 or 8 in 6 months

I've had about 20 viewings in 6 weeks but only one cr*p offer though
I wouldn't worry too much about the amount of viewers most of ours have yet to sell their own houses so weren't in a position to buy even though a few have said they wanted to

True but it was sooooo cr*p that we just couldn't afford to accept it.

We'd accept a slightly less cr*p one though

Our house is going on the market at the beginning of September so not too sure what the market is like now but i understand that it is picking up a little.

So...if anyone is after a 6 bedroom detached house????? Then please let me know

We live in Potton in Bedfordshire

Difficult really what estate agent to use as they all seem to give you the same chat if you see what i mean.

Think we will use a local family based agent as they seemed really honest and down to earth.

I will let you know if my intuition is correct in 6 weeks time

Hee Hee, we had our lounge in a deep red & i loved it ! but thought after watching all these bloody house selling programmes we would paint it the dreaded MAGNOLIA . We co ordinated all our furniture to blend in ,even going as far as chocolate brown leather sofas ! The end result it looks lovely, like a show home, still hate it though as i can see even the tiniest spider in the cornor :scared: but hey they know best !!!

good luck with your sale ,

Hi Ours has been on the market 8 weeks, 10 viewings plus another 5 that did not show up
I don't think any were in the position to buy and we have had no offers. The estate agents reckon we have been unlucky and that we should not reduce the price.

Hi,

Its been 5 weeks now and 3 viewings, but no offers. I think its slightly over priced fora very slow market. However, until we actually receive the visas we are holding back on dropping the price.

Hopefully once we get the visas we can consider dropping the price and see what happens. The last thing we want to do is give it away, but once we get the visas I can see us wanting to go soooooo much we will drop the price.

We've had about 7 viewing's in 6mths.

2 crap offer's and then 2 good one's in the same wk,it's now under offer.
in the end though we reduced it £25,000.

Good luck everyone.
